Sunshine Ramsey
I was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, and graduated from Davenport West High School. I went on to study dance at Louisburg College in North Carolina before landing a job at SeaWorld in Kissimmee, Florida, where I worked with the sharks at Terrors of The Deep. In 2001, I moved to Tennessee and signed with Artistry Records, where I recorded two country music albums. That same year, while visiting the Quad Cities, I met my husband, Jeff. We got married in 2006 and now have two wonderful children. One in college and the other an active teenager. I spent many years working at the Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse in Rock Island, Illinois. It was there that I met Doug. It took awhile but fate brought us back together for this new journey. Music has always been an intimate part of my life. It’s not just something I love, it's who I am. I hope you enjoy what we are creating.
Douglas Kay
Dad taught me 3 chords when I was about 9 years old, on an old guitar that I wish I still had, and I was hooked. Music has always been a part of my life. I love playing music and making people happy. Music touches people deeply and sharing music is very special for me. Working with Sunshine has been a real kick for this old strummer. She's such a pro. Honestly most of the time I'm just trying to keep up! :) I hope you enjoy what we have created.
